Exploring Architecture and Design 職涯探索：建築與設計

Are you curious about architecture as a profession? Wondering how design principles can be applicable to real life?

If you are interested in getting a glimpse of how architects and designers think and work, don't miss this chance to visit an award-winning architectural firm in Hong Kong!

You’ll not only visit the via. architectural firm and hear from its founder Frank Leung on his design philosophies and the inspiration for his studio, gallery, and artistic pursuits, but also be taken on a guided tour at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui, a five-star hotel whose interior design was the work of the firm. There, you'll learn about the ways modern design can co-exist with heritage by seeing how designers have integrated the architectural silhouette and red-brick heritage of the historic Signal Hill Signal Tower into the modern building.

9:15 am - 10:00 am Studio tour and designer sharing session at via. studio

10:00 am - 10:30 am Group transfer from via. studio to Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui

10:30 am - 12 nn “Culture of Time” immersive site tour at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui

Fees 費用: HK$100 (The fee will be reimbursed upon confirmation of student attendance at the event. 如參加者準時出席活動，費用將會全數退回。)

Please bring along your ELA passport and own water bottle. 請帶備ELA 通行證及足夠飲用水。

Important Notes:
1. Registrations for outings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If the activity is oversubscribed, that is the number of registrations exceeds the available quota, participants will be selected through drawing lots. All registrants will be notified of their selection status following the draw.
2. Unsuccessful registrants will be placed on a waitlist in sequential order. Once there are vacancies, they will be filled by waitlisted participants accordingly.
3. Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email two weeks prior to the activity date. Upon receiving the confirmation, participants should settle the payment within 72 hours to secure the place. ASHK reserves the right to release the quota if participants fail to pay in time.

2. 抽籤落選者將按順序列入輪候名單，如有名額釋出將依序遞補。
3. 成功報名者將於活動日兩週前收到確認電郵。 收到電郵後需於 72 小時內完成繳費以確認名額。若未按時繳費，本中心有權釋出該名額。
