Ngong Ping Sewage Treatment Works (NPSTW) is Hong Kong’s very first tertiary sewage treatment plant with reclaimed water facilities! Commissioned in 2006, this eco-hub is designed to serve up to 40,000 residents and visitors daily. On this unique field trip, students will go behind the scenes to explore advanced tertiary treatment technology—a process far beyond traditional methods—and see how wastewater is purified and reclaimed to safeguard our country parks and reservoir water quality. You will gain firsthand insights into how environmental engineering achieves the perfect harmony between nature conservation and tourism development!

Fees 費用: HK$100 (The fee will be reimbursed upon confirmation of student attendance at the event. 如參加者準時出席活動，費用將會全數退回。)

Please note that it will be a around 45mins shuttle-bus ride. Be prepared for the journey! 車程大概需時45分鐘。如有需要，家長可自行為子女準備暈浪藥。

Please bring along your ELA passport, your own snacks, water bottle, and mosquito repellent. 請帶備ELA 通行證。因活動時間長, 子女可帶自備少許零食、足夠飲用水及驅蚊用品。

Important Notes:
1. Registrations for outings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If the activity is oversubscribed, that is the number of registrations exceeds the available quota, participants will be selected through drawing lots. All registrants will be notified of their selection status following the draw.
2. Unsuccessful registrants will be placed on a waitlist in sequential order. Once there are vacancies, they will be filled by waitlisted participants accordingly.
3. Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email two weeks prior to the activity date. Upon receiving the confirmation, participants should settle the payment within 72 hours to secure the place. ASHK reserves the right to release the quota if participants fail to pay in time.

1. 活動名額以先到先得方式分配，如報名人數超出限額，將以抽籤方式決定參加者，所有已登記人士將於抽籤結果公布後獲個別通知。
2. 抽籤落選者將按順序列入輪候名單，如有名額釋出將依序遞補。
3. 成功報名者將於活動日兩週前收到確認電郵。 收到電郵後需於 72 小時內完成繳費以確認名額。若未按時繳費，本中心有權釋出該名額。
